Will Family A be lucky and have a perfectly behaved baby? Or a set of fussy twins who are never happy? I like the idea of rolling with the punches. I feel like each child being their own unique thing automatically would make the game much more interesting. I find myself falling into the same archetypes as my games move into the next generation, and that's inevitably when I get bored and start over. Is there any mod like this for TS3 or TS4? I don't mind picking traits for my first generation in CAS, but I don't want to be given the option to choose between having an Angelic or Wild toddler, and I don't want to determine that my teenager will suddenly develop an Artistic side upon aging up from a child.
One of the things I've wistfully considered for a long time (since TS3 came out) is how nice it would be if the game could just assign random traits to children born in-game without having to mistreat them in their childhood. I appreciate the ability to pick traits for your sims and find it useful for storytelling, but honestly one of my favorite things in The Sims is letting my sims be their freaky selves and playing within the chaotic realm they create.
